SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at producing, preparation and processing of oil. Proposed settler has housing divided by partition into compartment for accumulating cleaned oil, and compartment for sediment with intermediate cross partitions of variable height with increase of height of location of upper edges and reduction of height of location of lower edges in direction of liquid flow lengthwise the settler.
EFFECT: provision of effective setting at high viscosity and density of oil.
