FIELD: preparation of oil fields and refineries. SUBSTANCE: partitions are mounted inside settling tank; above upper edges of these partitions thin layer of flow of oil being cleaned is formed. Settling of water and mechanical impurities and flushing from salts are intensified by motion of oil in compartments and spraying of fresh water with special additives above part of surface of oil in settling compartments. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of cleaning, desalting, neutralization of hydrogen sulfide contained in oil at minimum capital and operational expenditure. 1 dwg
