FIELD: rolled stock production, possibly reversing stands of reducing, large-bar, rail-beam and plate rolling mills.
SUBSTANCE: mechanism includes electric-hydraulic system for controlling balancing hydraulic cylinder. Said system includes four-way two-position slide gate distributing device and mounted successively after it pipelines of pressure reducing, overflow-controlling, check valves and also regulated throttle. Invention allows unload nuts of screw-down mechanisms and thrust bearing assemblies from super-balancing effort at readjusting upper roll for new reduction value during pauses.
EFFECT: increased useful life period of screw gage, lowered expenses for restoration, decreased operational costs, improved efficiency of rolling mill.
