FIELD: the invention may be used for processing particularly for cutting blanks of conducting materials with a rotary disk electrode-instrument.
SUBSTANCE: Motion of feed of the processed detail is imparted to the instrument. The circular speed of the disk electrode-instrument is given in the range of 100-120m/s. At that the effort of feed is chosen no less than sum of critical effort on the electrode-instrument and centripetal force. The mode allows to reduce the deterioration of the disk electrode-instrument approximately in 10 times in comparison with the prototype and reduces power inputs in 1,5-2 times at preserving productivity of cutting.
EFFECT: increases productivity of the electrode-instrument.
