FIELD: mechanical engineering; welding.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at diffusion welding of thin-walled laminated constructions of complex curvilinear profile consisting of outer and inner coaxially assembled shells. In process of diffusion welding, welding pressure is applied by active medium containing nitrogen which strengthens outer surface of outer shell of laminated construction. Inner shell of laminated construction is arranged on mandrel with nitrated support surface, and outer surface of inner shell is strengthened by thermodynamic contact. Heating is carried out at rate of 0.25°C/sec. Welding pressure is changed at reaching of 500°C according to preset dependence.
EFFECT: enlarged range of welding pressure owing to improved stability of construction under welding, improved quality of welding.
