FIELD: transport engineering; security systems.

SUBSTANCE: with alarm connected, engine of vehicle is interlocked by security system central control unit. After application of supply to one of inputs of central control unit, for instance, ignition input, request is sent to User identifier and identification of User is carried out. If result of identification is positive, signal is sent to central control unit at reception of which engine of vehicle is unlocked, and if result is negative, alarm signal is sent by radio to User. According to proposed method, as distinct from known methods, when automobile is stopped, supply of ignition input in central control unit is switched off by ignition switch and after repeated delivery of supply to ignition input, procedure of identification of User is implemented again. If result of identification is negative, simultaneously with sending of alarm signal by radio, speed of vehicle is measured by speed meter. Speed value is compared with preset interlock threshold. If speed of vehicle is not lower than said threshold, engine is interlocked, additional alarm signal forming unit is activated and if ignition input of central control unit is under voltage, alarm signal is sent by radio to User. When measured speed value becomes less than unlocking threshold, engine of vehicle is unlocked. Invention provides protection against hi-jacking even in the cases when central control unit fails by some reasons.

EFFECT: provision of interrupted movement of automobile accompanied by sending of alarm signals to user.
