FIELD: aviation; flying vehicle instrumentation used for reducing the landing minima and enhancing accuracy of flight over complex spatial trajectories.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of forming the pilotage navigation information on multi-functional indicator in performing the landing consists in imaging the presentations of runway, ground and horizon line on the screen whose sighting axis is directed over velocity vector in such way that it is central part of the screen; symbol in form of miniature airplane is imaged in the center of screen and aiming reticle is formed which moves over the same trajectory as flying vehicle and lies at preset distance in front of it in preset air corridor; this aiming reticle is imaged on the screen in form of frame. Pilot corrects angle of inclination of arbitrary velocity vector whose magnitude is determined in computer after filtration and summing-up of pitch angle and angle of inclination of aircraft true velocity vector; aiming reticle is checked and is kept in center of screen; actual velocity vector is directed to the lead point moving over landing trajectory, thus ensuring smooth approach of aircraft to preset trajectory followed by running over projected trajectory.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of piloting under difficult weather conditions at landing; reduced load on pilot.
