FIELD: the invention refers to the field of radiolocation.
SUBSTANCE: the monopulse direction finder is designed for measuring angular coordinates of radar targets and has a summary-differential arrangement, an angular information transformer from relation of amplitudes of summary and differentials signals into relation of the phases of output signals and a synchronous (phase) detector included in-series and also - a divisor connected with its first input with the output of the synchronous detector and with its output - with the output of the monopulse direction finder. For expansion of angular working range in the limits of the effective width of the directional diagram of the summary signal a new correlator is introduced. It fulfills multiplication and averaging of two complex-conjugated meanings of one of the output signals U1 or U2 of the of the angular information transformer and with its input it is connected with one of the outputs of the mentioned angular information transformer, and with its output - with the second input of the divisor.
EFFECT: expansion of angular working range.
