FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: method involves using a multi-element antenna array with two beam patterns formed symmetrically about an equisignal direction. Frequency of the received signal and the bearing of the source of that signal are determined on standardised levels of intersection of said beam patterns.
EFFECT: faster combined instantaneous determination of frequency of a received signal and the bearing of the source of that signal, high accuracy of bearing measurement and easy implementation of the method.
