SUBSTANCE: one-pass recordable carrier has allocated flaw control area for explicit recording into it of flaw control information, and a set of temporary areas, for temporary recording of flaw control information. Before completion of carrier, flaw control information is renewed each time, renewed flaw control information is recorded into one of temporary flaw control areas. Status information recording area is located on the carrier, while information about condition, pointing at temporary flaw control area, containing last recorded flaw control invention, is recorded there. On access to condition information, it is possible to determine last recorded flaw control information.
EFFECT: compatibility with rewritable type data carrier.
