INTERLOCKING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC H01H9/20 

FIELD: electrical engineering; interlocking mechanisms.

SUBSTANCE: proposed interlocking device that can be used for controlling electric circuits of stand-by power change-over systems has casing 1, control component in the form of spring-loaded trapezoidal crank 2, two pairs of hinged levers 3 and connecting rod 4, as well as lever 5 and connecting rod 6. Device also has retainer 7 made in the form of thin rod hinged to trapezoidal crank 2 mounted on reed spring 8 within casing 1. Levers 3 and 5 are mounted on axle 9 for turning relative to one another in vertical plane and provided with pushers 10 and 11 joined with handle grips 12 and 13 of modular circuit breakers being interlocked. Connecting rods 4 and 6 are hinge-mounted on axle 16 for turning relative to one another in vertical plane and hinged to levers 3 and 5, respectively; connecting rods 4 and 5 alternately engage opposite ends of trapezoidal crank 2. Ends of retainer 7 are inserted in holes 17 and 18 of casing 1 for reciprocation under action of trapezoidal crank 2 and for alternate engagement of contact systems 19 and 20 of respective circuit breakers 14 and 15. Retainer 7 is joined to trapezoidal crank by means of hinge 21.

EFFECT: simplified design, reduced size, facilitated maintenance, enlarged functional capabilities.
