FIELD: agriculture, in particular, processes for complex amelioration of alkaline soil under irrigation conditions.
SUBSTANCE: method involves examining soil for defining needed ameliorative practices; sowing winter crops, preferably wheat, on plot contemplated for carrying out of ameliorative practices; after wheat harvesting, introducing designed dose of chemical ameliorant such as ammoniated phosphogypsum in the form of semi-hydrate; introducing mineral fertilizers at the rate of N60P40; providing disking using heavy disk tools; sowing green manure crop seeds by means of stubble drills; grinding green manure crops at initial flowering-flowering phase; disking and harrowing to 28-30 cm depth; next year, sowing phytoameliorants such as Sudan grass; during cultivation of Sudan grass, increasing irrigation norm by 15-20% as compared to recommended rate; on black soil, pouring chemical ameliorant onto alkaline soil spots, and on light-chestnut soils pouring chemical ameliorant in the form of continuous strip. When needed, in five years ameliorative practices should be performed once again with the use of the same pattern.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of ameliorative practices.
