FIELD: motor road safety devices, particularly vehicle stopping barricades to be constructed in dangerous road sections.
SUBSTANCE: barricade comprises massive fixed block made as thick-walled vertical panel, sliding connection and horizontal containers with damping working bodies. The barricade also has movable block freely sliding along horizontal guider connected to asphalt by means of installation screws. Fixed block panel has orifices to receive cylindrical containers. The cylindrical containers are welded to the orifice edges and have massive rear walls and damping working bodies. The working bodies are formed of foamed aluminum material with 0.45-0.55 g/m3 density. The containers are secured in fixed block so that container projects over fixed block surface towards moving block for 1/3 of container length. The moving block is made as massive carriage with 5 parallel piston rods connected thereto. The pistons are inserted in corresponding containers. Each rod includes 3 telescopically connected cranks. Shock-absorber including non-woven fabric and spring is connected to carriage surface from front side thereof, namely from road facing side.
EFFECT: decreased barricade costs, increased shock-absorbing properties of working body at lower temperatures and decreased wear under large temperature differences.
