FIELD: construction, road construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention deals with protecting devices intended for deceleration, correction or direction of vehicle motion. The road buffer has apertures arranged in the rear wall (lower section) and in the lateral walls (on the rear wall side) and the lower base being represented by a bearing surface along the front and the lateral walls and a surface spanning over the apertures which results in formation of a niche no less than 150 mm high open from the bottom and on the side of the rear wall.

EFFECT: preventing generation of a vehicle motion vertical component at the vehicle's collision with a road buffer.
