FIELD: apparatuses for cooling lumpy materials after their heat treatment in industrial furnaces, possibly for metallurgical, chemical, refractory material, building material producing industry branches.
SUBSTANCE: shaft type cooling apparatus includes housing where loading shaft, centering funnel, heat exchanging shaft, air distributing collector, main pipeline and by-pass air conduit are arranged. Main pipeline provides air feed from blower and it is provided with air flow meter and damper. By-pass air conduit is provided with inertial dust trap communicated with heat exchanging shaft. In zone of by-pass air conduit at side of air outlet there is jacket forming closed cavity communicated through additional pipeline with main pipeline. Openings are formed on end face of said jacket at side of air outlet.
EFFECT: improved operational reliability, increased useful life period of cooling apparatus.
