FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed polarized electromagnet that has magnetic circuit, core with coil, permanent magnet, keeper, and core is provided in addition with one more permanent magnet, polarizing magnetic flux leakage limiter, and keeper locking device. Slots are provided on two sides of core perpendicular to its axis, their width being commensurable with permanent-magnet height. Both permanent magnets are disposed perpendicular to core on its two sides in slots and contact this core through like poles, reverse poles being interconnected by means of magnetically permeable clamp enclosing the keeper. Slots are made on two sides of keeper to afford interaction between the latter and locking device. Polarized magnetic flux leakage limiter is made in the form of nonmagnetic gasket disposed between core and magnetic circuit.

EFFECT: enhanced resistance to mechanical impacts, efficiency, and sensitivity of electromagnet, simplified design of keeper fixing arrangement.
