Agent for prophylaxis and treatment of nervous diseases and cardiovascular system diseases represents a mixture consisting of 6-8 parts of alcoholic extract prepared by extraction of motherwort herb, sweet clover herb, valerian rhizomes and roots, common balm herb, heather herb, Saint-John's-wort herb, chicory roots taken by 0.5-1.5 part and in the ratio raw : extractant = 1:5, and mint tincture, 0.100-0.150 part, hop liquid extract, 0.2-0.6 part, hawthorn liquid extract, 0.5-1.5 part, coneflower tincture, 0.5-1.5 part, and cranberry syrup, 3-5 parts. Method for preparing agent used in prophylaxis and treatment of nervous diseases and cardiovascular system diseases involves extraction of a medicinal vegetable raw (motherwort herb, sweet clover herb, valerian rhizomes and roots, common balm herb, heather herb, Saint-John's-wort herb, chicory roots taken by 0.5-1.5 part of each component) with 70% ethyl alcohol by maceration and percolation methods in the ratio raw : ethyl alcohol as extractant = 1:5. Then the prepared extract is settled, filtered and the following components are added to 6-8 parts of prepared extract: mint tincture, 0.100-0.150 part; hop liquid extract, 0.2-0.6 part; hawthorn liquid extract; coneflower, 0.5-0.15 part, and cranberry syrup, 3-5 parts.
