FIELD: radio engineering including antennas for communication and radar means operating in extremely high and superhigh frequency bands.
SUBSTANCE: proposed mirror-lens antenna designed to comply with requirements of Moscow Association for Documentary Electric Communications (Russia) has radiator, main point-focus parabolic mirror, and auxiliary mirror in the form of surface of revolution whose generating line is ellipse section; novelty is that its auxiliary mirror is disposed inside single-focus dielectric lens mounted on antenna radiator. This lens is essentially body of revolution whose inner and outer surface shape depends on dielectric material used for lens manufacture.
EFFECT: enhanced antenna surface utilization factor and comparatively small axial size of main parabola-shaped mirror.
