FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is intended for use as antennae of earth stations of satellite communication systems with repeaters of SHF-EHF ranges, located on geostationary orbit, for operation simultaneously in two frequency ranges. Disclosed is a dual-band antenna with a ring focus, consisting of two radiators of different frequency ranges, reflector – the main mirror in the form of a conducting surface formed by the rotation of the asymmetric part of the parabola around the axis of axial symmetry of the antenna, which is parallel to the focal axis of the parabola, and a counter-reflector – an auxiliary mirror in the form of a conducting surface formed by rotating the asymmetric part of the ellipse around the axis of axial symmetry of the antenna, one of the foci of which coincides with the focus of the parabola, and the second focus is on the axis of axial symmetry of the antenna between the reflector and the counter-reflector. Opposite the counter-reflector, on the side of the reflector, there is a secondary counter-reflector in the form of a conducting surface based on an axisymmetric cut from an ellipsoid of revolution, the focal axis of which coincides with the axis of axial symmetry of the antenna. Far focus of the secondary counter-reflector coincides with the focus of the counter-reflector on the axis of axial symmetry of the antenna, and in this focus there is a radiator of the first frequency range facing the counter-reflector. In the near focus of the secondary counter-reflector there is a second frequency range irradiator facing it.
EFFECT: high efficiency of the antenna at simultaneous reception of radio waves in two frequency ranges.
