FIELD: printing and publishing industry, in particular, methods for production of flexible covers with rounded off angles.
SUBSTANCE: the method consists in cutting of a printed sheet of the covering material, scoring of it, bending of the covering material flaps and their gluing. The cutting process is accomplished is accordance with the scheme of sheet pattern cutting so that the flaps would have chamfered side-lay edges. An the point of intersection of the flap folds the sheet has rounded off angular sections, roundings off, having a radius equal to the radius of the rounded off angular sections, adjoin these sections so that in the bent position of the sheet flaps the given roundings off coincide with the rounded off angular sections.
EFFECT: simplified process of manufacture of flexible covers with rounded off angles, reduced labor content, enhanced output.
