FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wheels of chassis of heavy transport aeroplanes. Proposed wheel consists of wheel disk with hub and tire fitted on cylindrical outer surface of wheel disk. Disk flanges preclude spreading of tire beads. Beads are reinforced by steel wire rope-core and are interference-fitted in groove to provide sealing of inner volume of tire and prevent its displacement. Inner space of tire is divided into separate sealed compartments by inner posts. Each inner compartment is furnished with separate valve. Height of vertical posts is less than inner height of tire profile, and distance between vertical posts is either equal to or greater than distance from post to tire bead. Moreover, posts are interconnected by bridges which are installed at a distance from each other at pitch within the limits of post-to-post distance. Tire of proposed wheel provides decrease of braking distance and resistance to rolling which provides economy of fuel, provision of two or three inner insulated compartments inside tire guarantee safety and high reliability of tire.
