FIELD: manufacture of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in applying the gas-forming agent on continuous band of film glass which is placed in mold layer by layer for obtaining the mat of required thickness. Then glass is heated and is foamed. Device proposed for realization of this method has two shafts, vacuum drum, unit for application of gas forming agent, spreader and mold. Unit for application of gas-forming agent may be made in spreader rollers.
EFFECT: reduced labor input; reduced power requirements.
