FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: one should study blood serum of 2 ml volume due to infrared spectroscopy to detect the values of transmission and calculate average values of transmission in the following ranges 3085-2832 cm-1, 2120-1880 cm-1, 1710-1610 cm-1, 1430-1210 cm-1 and at average value of transmission within 1430-1210 cm-1 being below or equal to 68.30, within 3085-2832 cm-1 being above 46.92 and within 1710-1610 cm-1 being above 68.48 it is possible to diagnose infectious mononucleosis, and, also, at average value of transmission within 1430-1210 cm-1 being above 68.39 and within 2120-1880 cm-1 being above 92.77 one should, also, diagnose infectious mononucleosis. The method suggested provides the chance for simultaneous testing a great number of blood serumal samples, positive economic effect, shortened terms of hospitalization and in-patient therapy.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnostics.
