SUBSTANCE: fruit washing machine has carcass apparatus, drives, rolls and belt having U-shaped section and equipped with sides and ridges. Ridges provided on one side of belt are offset with respect to ridges provided on other side of belt. Ridges may be made in the form of inclined pyramids, inclined cones, inclined prisms, inclined truncated cones, and inclined truncated pyramids. Inclination angle of apexes of ridges provided on one side of belt are greater than inclination angles of apexes of ridges provided on other side of belt.
EFFECT: improved quality of fruit washing and increased efficiency of machine.
