FIELD: welding processes and equipment, namely single-phase welding stabilizers.

SUBSTANCE: output of additional power source is connected to electrodes of welding electric arc and it includes additional transformer; bridge type rectifier with voltage multiplication; voltage indicator; throttle; threshold device. Positive terminal of additional bridge type rectifier through connected in series first resistor, second resistor, relay, outlets of anode-cathode of cut-off thyristor is connected to common bus that connects minus outlets of bridge type rectifier with voltage multiplication. Main power source includes additional voltage divider, limiting resistor, first and second rectifying diodes. Invention provides enhanced ignition of electric arc in air atmosphere and shield gas atmosphere, minimal splashing due to high stability of welding electric current.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of stabilizer, lowered mass and size of stabilizer, possibility for smooth regulation of stabilized welding current in wide range.
