FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for low power stations arranged in rivers, channel and water conduits with narrow channels. Proposed hydraulic turbine consists of two or more working wheels placed in fairings with enlarged inlet. Outlet branch pipes with slots are provided behind working wheels. Hydraulic turbine is fastened on bottom along channel opposite to flow by wide base of fairings. Water flow sets working wheel blades into rotation. Guide assemblies serve to spin water flow at working wheel inlet. Working wheel transmit torque to shaft whose kinematic energy is transformed into electric energy. Water getting to input of each following stage receives additional energy from water flow from periphery of channel. Slots are made in outlet branch pipes for mixing flow with higher velocity flow. Owing to the fact that outlet branch pipes of fairings located close to each other are turned in plane of rotation within 90° and 180°, partial balancing of force acting onto shaft is obtained and more complete utilization of energy of peripheral flow.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities.
