FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydropower engineering, in particular, to free-flow hydroelectric power plants, which are arranged on flat rivers with low-potential water flow. Device for acceleration of low-potential water flow of free-flow microhydroelectric power plant includes guide vanes in form of venturi tube 1, pipeline 2 and hydraulic turbine 3. On narrowed section of guide apparatus is built pipeline 2 with hydraulic turbine 3, installed under controlled angle φ = 30°-80° to guide apparatus depending on speed of free external flow which accelerates water flow passage on narrowed section, thus creating zone of low dynamic pressure, thereby increasing speed of water flow through hydraulic turbine 3.
EFFECT: increased specific power, high efficiency of using energy of water flow, as well as creation of a device which is easy to make and is reliable during operation.
