FIELD: measurement technology; check of onboard navigation systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in forced rotation of the attitude-and-heading reference system with angular velocity gyroscopic meters and accelerometers rigidly secured on it relative to three axes without gyroscopic stabilization. Then, magnitudes of ideal output signals of gyroscopes and accelerometers are determined and are compared with output signals of gyroscopes and accelerometers read off meters in the course of initial preparation of inertial navigation system.

EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of initial alignment of inertial navigation system.
