METHOD FOR MEASURING ERRORS OF THE INITIAL ALIGNMENT OF AN INERTIAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM WITHOUT REFERENCE TO EXTERNAL LANDMARKS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01C25/00

Abstract RU 2779274 C1

FIELD: instrumentation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to instrumentation, in particular to inertial navigation systems (INS), and can be used to measure the errors of the initial alignment of INS without reference to external landmarks. The method for measuring the errors of the initial alignment of the INS is that a block of sensitive elements (BSE) is installed so that the opposite points marked on the BSE lie on the applied straight line. The INS is launched and the initial alignment is carried out, after which the INS is switched to navigation mode and the BSE is rotated 180 degrees without detaching from the horizontal surface of the stand until the points on the BSE coincide with the applied straight line, the BSE is kept stationary and within 10 minutes with an interval of 1 second, horizontal speeds Vx and Vz are recorded in the array of current projections on the axis of the geographical system. After that, the recorded arrays of speed projections are approximated by 3rd order polynomials in time and the coefficients of their linear K1x, K1z and quadratic K2x, K2z terms are determined, by which the errors of the initial alignment of the inertial navigation system and their changes in time are judged.

EFFECT: ensuring the determination of the errors of the initial INS alignment in the conditions of the impossibility of linking to external landmarks with a simultaneous increase in the reliability and accuracy of determining these errors.
