FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for processing of licorice roots.

SUBSTANCE: working tool for rotary tiller has L-shaped knife with bent wing provided in lower part of tine. Flat portion of knife including bent wing is joined to C-shaped member. Tine, wing bent portion, C-shaped member and flat portion of knife are made in the form of integral part manufactured from strip construction steel and equipped with cutting edge extending along longer strip. Cutting edge has variable sharpening angle reducing in direction of free end of knife flat portion. Mounting part of tine is equipped with receiving cylindrical belt. Bending lines of wing and C-shaped member are offset from their surfaces by value equal to bending radius r=(0.7-0.9)xb, where b is width of wind. Angle between cutting edge of tine, wing bent portion, C-shaped member, knife flat portion and bending lines of wing and C-shaped member is 45-75 deg.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing clean cut of licorice roots in the process of removal of blackhead and reduced labor intensity in manual processing of licorice root mass.
