GRID AND DUST TRAPPING DEVICE OF VACUUM CLEANER, VACUUM CLEANER HAVING SUCH GRID AND DUST TRAPPING DEVICE Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC A47L9/16

Abstract RU 2300305 C2

FIELD: vacuum cleaners and their operation modes.

SUBSTANCE: grid and dust trap device are designed for vacuum cleaners operating without dust bag due to suction of contaminated air, generation of vortex flow of such air and separation of contaminated matters from air by means of centrifugal force created by vortex flow. Grid includes housing made with possibility of generation of air vortex flow around housing, large number of ventilation ducts formed in housing for guiding vortex flow to said housing. Each ventilation duct has front surface turned in motion direction of vortex flow and back surface arranged upstream front surface relative to motion direction. Each ventilation duct is formed in such a way that at least one plane passing along back surface and motion direction line of vortex flow cross by obtuse angle at side upstream motion direction of vortex flow. Grid is arranged in cyclone dust trapping device having housing of cyclone provided with air suction section and air discharging outlet unit. grid is joined with discharging unit of cyclone. Receptacle for collecting contamination particles separated from sucked air is coupled with housing of cyclone. Grid and dust trap device are mounted in vacuum cleaner having housing where vacuum suction unit and suction brush connected with housing of vacuum cleaner and moved on cleaned surface are arranged. Cyclone dust trap device is detachably mounted in housing of vacuum cleaner.

EFFECT: improved designs of grid and dust trap.
