SUBSTANCE: method involves determining oil reservoir permeability and porosity with the use of geophysical horizontal well survey procedures; calculating potential production rate thereof with taking into consideration different geological-and-physical conditions; determining actual horizontal well output and comparing the actual output with potential production rate; additionally determining oil saturation of reservoir, distance between horizontal well and water-oil contact in reservoir, horizontal well bore length, completion fluids type and density and horizontal well development technology; selecting and inputting actual data for neuronet intelligence system teaching and selecting neuronet intelligence system architecture; forming teaching selections on the base of actual input data and teaching neuronet intelligence system; detecting main criteria, which exert maximal influence on potential production rate of oil horizontal well; calculating potential production rate of horizontal well with the use of trained neuronet intelligence system.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and accuracy of horizontal well output estimation due to enhancement selection of actual input reservoir and horizontal well parameters, possibility to detect main criteria exerting influence on potential production rate with the use of neuronet intelligence system adapted to particular oil field.
