FIELD: electrical engineering; differential current transformers.

SUBSTANCE: proposed differential current transformer has uniformly wound closed-circuit magnetic core and split-phase conductors passed through core opening and split into uneven number of parallel-connected conductors K = 3, 5, 7 ... which are uniformly distributed over inner circumference of closed-circuit toroidal magnetic core, their phase sequence being retained.

EFFECT: reduced unbalance.
