FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: differential current transformer comprises a toroidal core, a primary winding in the form of network conductors, which is arranged in the core window, and two secondary windings. One secondary winding is located on the magnet core of the differential current transformer in the middle between adjacent network conductors, it contains one or two parallel-connected loops and is cut in circuits of leakage current protection or control. The second secondary winding, the sections of which comprise one loop, are arranged between the magnet core and the network conductors, and their starts are coupled in one node, and the ends - in another node - as a squirrel-wheel type.
EFFECT: elimination of leakage fluxes in the magnetic core from the load currents in the network conductors, galvanic separation of differential current signal, where the differential current is proportional to the leakage current and of load signals proportional to the load currents.
