FIELD: metallurgy; rolling.
SUBSTANCE: proposed front table of mill has housing with chute hinge suspended from shaft, mechanism for lifting housing with chute provided with spherical surface of contact for turnable support of housing on end face. Lever is installed on shaft of stationary post one end of which cover is located, other end being hinge coupled with rod of lever turning hydraulic cylinder. Lever turning hydraulic cylinder is hinge-fastened on housing with chute at A/D=B/C≥1-1.2 where A is distance between axis of rolling and axis of shaft from which housing with chute is suspended; B is distance between axis of rolling and axis and of shaft on which lever with cover is installed; C is distance between axis of shaft on which lever with cover is installed and center of fastening of hydraulic cylinder rod; D is distance form axis of shaft from which housing with chute is suspended to axis of fastening of lever turning hydraulic cylinder. Invention provides simultaneous adjustment of chute and lever with cover to required diameter of billet.
EFFECT: increased capacity.
