FIELD: rolled stock production, namely in main lines of screw rolling mills for making tubes and round bars.
SUBSTANCE: main line includes working stand with rolls whose flanges are joined universal spindles. Articulation joints of each spindle are mutually joined through solid shaft, hydraulic cylinders for moving spindles along their axes and drive unit. At side of working stand under each universal spindle supporting rollers are mounted; said rollers are provided with rocking drive from hydraulic cylinders. Spindles are joined with drive unit through intermediate shafts mounted in bearing assemblies of bodies mounted in supporting frame. Hydraulic cylinders for moving spindles are mounted in pairs in turnings of bodies of bearing assemblies of intermediate shafts arranged near spindles. On end portions of rods of each pair of hydraulic cylinders profiled board is mounted with possibility of moving relative to intermediate shaft and having central opening and supporting roller resting upon bracket mounted in body of bearing assembly. On boss of flange mounted movably on end portion of intermediate shaft two annular pins are fastened for restricting motion of profiled board.
EFFECT: shortened idle periods of equipment, reduced number of changes of worn universal spindles, improved maintaining condition.
