FIELD: continuous combustion chambers.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises supplying burning fuel-air mixture and secondary air to the zone of intensive burning in flame tube of the combustion chamber and swirling the burning fuel-air mixture with second air. The secondary air is branched into two flows: the first flow is directed immediately to the flame pipe through the openings in the flame pipe, and the second flow is branched into jets and are swirled along the diverging conical screw spiral. The jets of the secondary air are directed to the flame pipe and during the swirling mix the burning fuel-air mixture with the first air flow. The flow rate of air supplied to the zone of intensive burning is controlled depending on fuel type. The combustion chamber comprises flame tube provided with openings for supplying air and mounted in the outer housing, ring passage between the flame pipe and outer housing, swirler made of hollow conical mixer with openings, and central body made of a cone and mounted concentrically with respect to the mixer. The swirler is additionally provided with tubular stands equidistantly arranged over periphery at an angle to its longitudinal axis. One end of the tubular stands is secured at the entrance to the ring passage, and the other end is secured to the openings made in the hollow conical mixer tangentially to the inner side of the mixer. The cone is mounted for permitting movement in the longitudinal direction to control of the flow rate of the secondary air supplied to the zone of intensive burning and to allow the location of the zone of the intensive burning to be optimal depending on the fuel type.
EFFECT: simplified method and reduced cost and enhanced efficiency of the combustion chamber.
