FIELD: transport engineering; electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: according to invention, electronic control unit is additionally introduced into battery switch which is provided with shunt connected between storage battery and starter, and threshold device is connected to output or middle point of shunt through change-over switch, threshold device being built around voltage-stabilizing diode and transistor. Switch is furnished with control transistor, emitter and base of transistor being connected parallel to shunt, actuating transistor with contactor winding connected to collector circuit of transistor, thyristor placed between base and emitter of actuating transistor and two amplifying stages built around transistors, first transistor being connected, together with control transistor in series into base circuit of second transistor, and second transistor being provided with series-connected light-emitting diode is connected to control circuit of thyristor. Output of threshold device is connected with base of first transistor of amplifying stages. Diode is connected between minus bus of electronic control unit and minus terminal of battery.

EFFECT: improved operating conditions of storage batteries, prevention of connection of batteries at reverse polarity.
