SUBSTANCE: invention describes mixtures of metallocenylphthalocyanines prepared by reaction of mixture containing two phthalocyanines of the formulae (I) and (II) wherein M₁ means Cu, Zn, Ni, Pd, Pt, Mn, Co, VO, MnO, TiO or H₂; X means Cl, Br; Y₁, Y₂ and R₁₅ have values given in claim 1 of the invention with the metallocene derivative in the presence of a catalyst. Also, invention describes oligomeric metallocenylphthalocyanines, a method for their synthesis and the information optical carrier comprising a mixture into a recording layer by any claim 1 or 2, or compound by claims 3-10.
