FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for measuring fuel flow rate and cyclic delivery in multicylinder diesel engines. Proposed fuel delivery irregularity meter contains housing with metering chamber formed by drain electromagnetic valve, injectors and plunger with return spring; signal pickup unit being essentially resilient strip with glue on strain-gauge transducers built around bridge circuit; analog-to-digital converter connected to computer and, through amplifier, to signal pickup unit; electronic unit connected to electromagnetic valve. Device is furnished with safety valve. Drain electromagnetic valve is made in form of precision plunger pair with plunger provided with axial and radial channels and bushing-armature exposed to action of electromagnets which controls closing and opening of drain radial channel.
EFFECT: provision of quick action electromagnetic valve of device.
