FIELD: systems for automatic control of manufacturing processes, namely apparatuses for controlling flow rate of cooling water in metal continuous casting machines.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes regulating valve; program device for setting water flow rate; water flow rate meter; error detecting unit; timer and adder. Outlet of program device is connected with first inlet of error detecting unit whose second inlet is connected with outlet of water flow rate meter. Regulating valve and flow rate meter are mounted in series in main line for water supply. Apparatus includes in addition: second, third and fourth error detecting units; first, second, third and fourth RS flip-flops; reset button; first and second time setters; first and second comparators; first and second fault indicators; valve control unit; first, second and third OR-gates; first, second and third AND-gates; exclusive OR -gate with inverted outlet; second regulating valve; second adder and second timer; comparator, pickup and pressure setter. Outlet of program device is connected inlet of first time setter and with first inlets of second and third error detecting units whose second inlets are connected with outlet of flow rate meter. Outlet of first error detecting unit is connected to first inlet of Exclusive OR-gate, to third inlet of second OR-gate and h S-inlet of first RS flip-flop whose outlet is connected to first inlets of first OR-gate, valve control unit, first AND-gate and second adder. Outlet of second adder is connected to first inlet of third AND-gate and to subtracting inlet of pressure setter whose outlet is connected to first inlet of fourth error detecting unit. Second inlet of fourth error detecting unit is connected to outlet of pressure pickup and its outlet is connected to control inlet of second valve and to inlet of comparator whose outlet is connected to inlet of second timer. Outlet of second timer is connected to first inlet of second comparator whose second inlet is connected to second time setter and whose outlet is connected to S-inlet of fourth RS flip-flop. Outlet of the last is connected to second fault indicator and its R-inlet is connected to outlet of reset button and to R-inlet of second RS flip-flop whose outlet is connected to first fault indicator and S-inlet is connected to outlet of first comparator. First inlet of first comparator is connected to outlet of first time setter and its second inlet is connected to outlet of first timer. Enabling inlet of first timer is connected to outlet of first OR-gate whose second inlet is connected to second inlet of valve control unit, to first inlet of first adder, second inlet of first AND-gate and to outlet of third RS flip-flop. S-inlet of the last is connected to outlet of third error detecting unit, to first inlet of second OR-gate and to third inlet of Exclusive OR-gate. R-inlet of third RS flip-flop is connected outlet of second error detecting unit, to second inlets of second OR-gate and of Exclusive OR-gate, to R-inlet of first RS flip-flop and disabling inlet of first timer. Outlet of valve control unit is connected to control inlet of first valve and outlet of first adder is connected to inlet of pressure setter and to first inlet of third AND-gate. Outlet of second OR-gate and outlet Of Exclusive OR-gate are connected to respective inlets of second AND-gate. Outlets of all AND-gates are connected to respective inlets of third OR-gate and inlet of reset button is connected to voltage bus of logic "1".
EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of apparatus.
