FIELD: rolled stock production, namely apparatuses for controlling emulsion temperature, possibly used in system for preparing emulsion in cold rolling mills and sustaining its stable temperature.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes heat exchanger, valve metering flow rate of cooling water and coupled with electric actuating mechanism, emulsion flow rate meter, pickup and setter of emulsion temperature, cooling water measuring pickup, comparator units, control unit. The last is in the form of complex electronic circuit providing high response and improved accuracy of apparatus.
EFFECT: possibility for sustaining stable temperature of emulsion in cold rolling mill due to enhanced accuracy of apparatus provided by its initial automatic adjustment and automatic correction, improved operational reliability of apparatus due to detection of failures of electronic and mechanical equipment.
