FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system for automatic control of carburetor engine at idling contains carburetor installed on intake manifold, supply source, electropneumatic (or electromagnetic) valve to cut off delivery of fuel-air mixture (or fuel) through channels of carburetor idling system, and electropneumatic (or electromagnetic) valve control circuit including control unit, pickup and crankshaft speed meter, throttle valve position pickup, and accelerator pedal. Fuel-air mixture (or fuel) metered delivery control unit is connected in parallel with control circuit of electropneumatic (or electromagnetic) valve. Output of control unit of electropneumatic (or electromagnetic) valve is electrically connected with input of control unit of metered delivery of fuel-air mixture (or fuel), and information signals are delivered to said unit from knocking pickups, λ probe and pickups of fuel temperature in carburetor, air temperature at carburetor input, cooling liquid temperature at engine output and absolute pressure of fuel-air mixture in intake manifold.
EFFECT: provision of automatic control of metered delivery of fuel-air mixture or fuel through outlet channels of carburetor at idling within wide range of control of mixture composition.
