FIELD: processes and equipment for making rolled bars of stable geometry size by periodic rolling in planetary mills.
SUBSTANCE: stand includes housing, guiding rolls mounted in it; two mutually normal pairs of retainers in which cantilever type drive working rolls are mounted at shifting mutually normal pairs of working rolls one relative to other; drive unit for synchronously rotating retainers. As axles of retainers are fixed against rotation due to joining of their ends one with other, stand features increased rigidity. Rotation drive unit of each working roll is made in the form of planetary gear transmission where satellite and roll are joined through friction transmission whose torque provides possibility of rotation of roll along idle part of its orbit at predetermined circumferential velocity and in deformation zone - at speed matched with metal motion speed, its is possible to provide matched speed values of working rolls and of metal in deformation zone, to simplify design of stand and its maintenance. Axles of retainers may be eccentric ones. Stand housing may be mounted in journals with possibility of rotation by angle up to 90°C.
EFFECT: simplified design of stand housing, simplified maintenance of stand.
