FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly manufacture of channel type shapes.
SUBSTANCE: shape-bending mill includes successively arranged stands with upper and lower calibrated rolls having mean member and boundary cone members. All said members restrict roll grooved pass with horizontal portion. Upper roll of each stand has rolling diameter D exceeding rolling diameter d of lower roll of the same stand. Mean member of each roll has parabolic generatrix. Maximum convexity of generatrix is arranged in mean zone of length of mean member. Rolls of first -fifth stands have constant maximum convexity of parabolic generatrix. Maximum convexity value of rolls of each next stand is less by 1.15 - 1.25 times than that of rolls of previous stand. Maximum convexity value δl of lower rolls consists of (0.006 - 0.012)- d and it is reduced in such range at lowered width of horizontal portion of roll pass. Maximum convexity value of parabolic generatrix of upper rolls consists δup = δl - d/D.
EFFECT: increased useful life period of rolls of shape bending mill.
