FIELD: rolled stock production, namely manufacture of bent rolled shapes, particularly determining wear resistance of shaping tool.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of calculating quantity C1 of rolled metal from time moment of mounting new rolls with maximum diameter till time moment of dismounting rolls with minimum diameter. Metal quantity C1 is calculated for shape rolled of blank with thickness h1 and width b1 between rolls with rolling diameter d1 at the most value of metal pressure acting upon rolls equal to P1. Value C2 of metal quantity for shape rolled of blank with thickness h2 and width b2 between rolls with rolling diameter d2 at the most value of metal pressure acting upon rolls equal to P2 is normalized by means of mathematical expression.
EFFECT: lowered labor consumption for making rolls, economy of high-cost material.
