FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designed to prevent slipping of road vehicle wheels. Proposed antislip device includes at least two articulated plates provided with projections on outer and inner surfaces for engagement with road and wheel tread. Hinge joint of plate is made in form of two pairs of projections and slots on ends of each plate getting one onto the other and forming a piano hinge by means of fixing rod. Each plate is provided with stiffening ribs on outer and inner surfaces. Each projection of plate has oval through hole, longer axis of oval hole being parallel to horizontal plane of plate.
EFFECT: improved reliability of antislip device.
