FIELD: refrigeration engineering.
SUBSTANCE: absorption-diffusion refrigerator comprises thermal siphon, heat-water boiler, heater, dephlegmator, heat exchanger interposed between the strong and weak solutions, drain pipeline, and receiver for absorber. The thermal siphon is coaxially mounted inside the heat-water boiler. The heater for transporting heat to the thermal siphon through weak solution is mounted on the outer side of the heat-water boiler. The inner space of the boiler lies above the level of weak solution and is separated from the dephlegmator by a baffle to define the vapor space that is connected with the inner space of the thermal siphon under the level of the strong solution by means of a vapor duct. The space of the dephlegmator above the outlet opening of the thermal siphon, which lies above the baffle, is connected with the inner space of the boiler to define a hydraulic valve by means of pipeline for the weal solution. The outlet end of the pipeline for the weak solution is interposed between the levels of the strong and weak solutions and is mounted between the level of the strong solution and the outlet end of the vapor duct.
