FIELD: cryogenic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises separating air in the rectification system provided with the three sections arranged in series. The first and second sections and the second and third sections are interconnected in pair for permitting gas and liquid to flow between them. The second rectification section has two separated sections. The gas and liquid flows through the sections and can not flow from one section to the other. The fluid containing oxygen and argon is supplied to the first of two sections. The fluid containing oxygen and argon with argon concentration ranging from 15% to 50% is supplied from the second compartment.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
