FIELD: electrical and mechanical engineering; transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to peculiarities of design of electric motors used in vehicles. Proposed electric motor has rotor 3 with electromagnets 6, stator 2 with circular magnetic circuit 4 of which even number of permanent magnets 4 are attached at equal pitch, distributing commutator 7 with current-carrying segments 9 arranged on stator housing and current collectors 8 connected to windings of coils of rotor electromagnets. According to invention, windings of coils of adjacent electromagnets of rotor are connected in pairs in series aiding, and are connected with windings of coils of pair of diametrically opposite electromagnets, in series opposition to each other. Capacitors are connected to leads of windings connected with current collectors to form resonance circuits. Number n of permanent magnets of stator and number n of said resonance circuits are defined by relationship n=10+4K, m=2+k where K is 0, 1, 2, 3.... Number of current-carrying segments of distributing commutator is equal to number of permanent magnets of stator, and axial lines of dielectric gaps 10 of distributing communicator are orientated along axial lines of said permanent magnets.
EFFECT: increased torque of electric motor.
